Support the Abolition of the Federal Reserve System!

capwiz.com — Allowing the Fed to create more money out of thin air would merely put off the day of reckoning, and ensure that day would be even worse, when it finally arrived.

Comment:

 by bingobongony on 02/01/2008

Here are two reasons why the RonPaulians are stupid:
1. They think that Ron Paul has any chance of winning, even though he himself knows otherwise.
2. They think that if he DID win, that the Federal Reserve would magicially disappear on January 21, 2009. (The same with a lot of his wacko ideas, like eliminating the income tax etc.)

My response:

 by XieLanthia on 02/02/2008

Actually it is not stupidity it is hope. Hope, at a chance of a better future. Ron Paul has a chance even if it is slim and I believe that just because everyone believes he has a snow chance in hell doesn’t mean we give up that hope for a shoe-in candidate. That is not how change is brought about. Change is something you fight for. Strive for. Change is difficult and slow process. And that brings me to your second point. I hold no illusions that IF (and I stress IF) Ron Paul won the Republican Nomination AND won the Presidency, that the Federal Reserve (and other such issues)would magically disappear upon his admittance into office. But I DO believe that he will make good on his promises and set into motion the process of change for a United States that our founding fathers would be once again proud of. Hope for a United States I can be proud of. Ultimately, I believe that even if he lost he has brought about a motivation for change. I don’t believe the country will be the same after this regardless if he wins or not. THAT, my friend, is why Ron Paul has my support.
