Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz

I found Dean Koontz’s “Odd Thomas” to be a quaint and lovable story that wins you over with it’s refreshing simplicity and genuine honesty. Though Dean Koontz has quite a talent of making the dark and twisted supernatural seem almost mundane in “Odd Thomas”, it has an innocence that even a “Harry Potter” book could not touch upon.

You are the seond person to praise this book, guess I’ll have to grab a copy, though not like I ever really sit down and read anymore. I’ve been on the last Dark Tower book for almost 2 years now. And I think there is a new Ender book I have to get.
I don’t get a chance to sit down and read much, as well, these days. I stopped reading the Dark Tower series back with the Wizard’s Glass (I think that’s it) and ever since then I have been severely turned off by Stephen King. There is a fairly new Ender book, though I hear it is disappointing. I have heard there is an Ender’s Game movie in the making. I can only hope it will be at least a PG-13 but I doubt they’ll have the guts to show child on child violence.
